Bill Gates, co-founder of Soft Company

Bill Gates, co-founder of Soft Company, has resigned from the company's board of directors to give more time to charitable causes.


 He says he wants to focus more on tackling global health and development, education and climate change.

 65-year-old Bill Gates, one of the world's richest people, has also left the board of Warren Buffett's large company, Berkshire Hathaway.

 Earlier in 2008, he retired from his daily work at Microsoft.

 Regarding his latest move, he said that the company would 'always be important' to him and he would stay in touch and work with the company's leadership.


 But he said, "I see this new phase as an opportunity in which I will continue to maintain the friendships and partnerships that are of utmost importance to me."  I will continue to cooperate with both companies that I am proud of and will set priorities effectively in tackling the world's toughest challenges. '

 Bill Gates is the richest person in the world with a net worth of US $ 103.6 billion, according to Forbes' list of billionaires in the world.  The first on the list is Jeff Bezos, founder of the Amazon Company.

 They acquired this wealth by developing software for personal computers.

 After completing his education, he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he founded a Microsoft company with his childhood friend Paul Allen.  Paul Allen passed away in 2018.

 The biggest breakthrough for them came when they signed an agreement with IBM, a leading computer company, under which they raised the operating system, called MS DOS.

 In 1986, at the age of 31, he became the youngest self-made billionaire in the world.

 Bill Gates has served on the board of the Berkshire since 2004, but now spends most of his time with his charity, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  They set it up with their spouse.

 The Chronicle of Philanthropy was named the most generous 'working people' in the world in 2018.

 He had previously donated $ 4.8 billion to charity work at his company.
