According to details, 10,000 constables and lady constables are to be recruited across Punjab including Lahore. In this regard, recruitment process of 5,000 constables and lady constables has been started in 19 districts including Lahore. 600 traffic assistants will also be recruited in 5 major cities including Lahore.
Similarly, approval has been given to recruit 40 drivers from across the province. The quota for constable seats will be 5% for minorities and 15% for women. The age of candidates for recruitment has been fixed from 18 years to 22 years.
Candidates can get the application form from October 12 to October 26. An advertisement for recruitment will also be issued in the newspaper in one to two days. Intermediate certificate is required for constables and traffic assistants. Drivers will need a matriculation certificate and a driver's license.
